Meet The Team
Wayne Etowski’s upbringing involved hands-on work repairing, painting, and cleaning houses, skills he learned from his father. His father often joked, “Wayne knew how to use construction tools before he could even spell them.” Wayne pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Belmont Abbey College.
Married to his wife Heidi for 27 years, Wayne is a dedicated family man with three daughters. Since 1984, Wayne has been deeply involved in the Construction and Restoration industries, holding a general contractor license. He obtained his residential license around 1993 and has since acquired additional licenses in Building and Public Utility. Wayne has overseen over 20,000 repair projects and constructed more than 100 residences.
Wayne is IICRC qualified and is on track to receive his master’s in restoration. Beyond his professional achievements, Wayne finds immense satisfaction in the individuals he works with, cherishing the camaraderie and collaboration within his team.
Ryan Donnelly now calls North Carolina his home since retiring from the military. With over 25 years of experience in managing and leading an employee workforce of over three hundred people, Ryan offers and uses a unique blend of leadership, vision, and knowledge to get the mission done. The skills he has learned over 10 years in Renovation and 24 years in the U.S Army has helped and lead him to his current position as the Operation Manager at Showcase Restoration.
Ryan graduated with honors from McIntosh College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an Associate of Arts in Electronics Technology from Fayetteville Technical Community College. He and Tamara have been married for over 26 years and have two children together.
Heidi Etowski and Wayne have enjoyed a 27-year marriage and are proud parents of three daughters. Heidi holds a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and is a certified public accountant, as well as a qualified general contractor. She possesses certifications in WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying), and AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician).
Heidi’s journey into the construction industry began serendipitously when she found herself assisting with weekend and after-hours tasks for the business, initially serving as backup bookkeeper. Over time, she became increasingly involved in various projects and eventually obtained her building license. Currently, Heidi serves as the Showcase Government Services sponsor, showcasing her dedication and commitment to the company’s growth and development in this sector.
Heidi deeply appreciates the business’s strong emphasis on family values and the supportive management culture that values its staff. Her involvement in the construction industry underscores her passion for the field and her commitment to making valuable contributions to the company’s success.
Kristine Thompson is a highly qualified professional with dual Associate of Accounting degrees from Bryant and Stratton College and Fayetteville Tech. With an impressive 25 years of accounting experience under her belt, Kristine brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as Accounts Payable at Showcase Restoration. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kristine’s coworkers admire her for her willingness to drop everything to assist others, showcasing her commitment to teamwork and support. Her vibrant personality naturally draws people to her, making her a beloved member of the team.
Joshua Nuzzo embarked on his career journey at a young age. Starting as a full-time Framer at just 17 years old, Joshua’s talent and leadership abilities quickly became evident. By the age of 19, he was already leading framing teams, showcasing his natural aptitude for the construction industry. At 21, Joshua took the bold step of starting his own construction company, which he successfully managed for 21 years.
What began with framing homes evolved into a comprehensive expertise across all aspects of the residential industry, thanks to Joshua’s profound understanding and experience.
Brittany Grant is a graduate of Methodist University, holding dual bachelor’s degrees in Forensic Science and Criminal Justice. Over the course of fifteen years, she has cultivated a wealth of experience and expertise in the construction industry. She spent eight years as a construction engineer and twelve years as a heavy equipment operator.
Brittany’s career path reflects a diverse range of skills and hands-on experience. These attributes have uniquely prepared her for her current role as an estimator at Showcase Restoration.
Since he was 12 years old and working with his father, John Russell has been involved in the Construction and Remodeling industry in some capacity. He worked for Lowe’s Home Improvement for 16 years as a Sales specialist and Merchandising Manager.
At Showcase Restoration, he devotes himself to helping his clients by paying close attention to detail, understanding of construction and building materials, and being committed. He is looking forward to restoring his clients’ passion for their homes!
Ashley VanBuskirk holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interior Design from Appalachian State University and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Architecture.
With a family background deeply rooted in the industry—her father being a respected cabinet maker—Ashley brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical expertise to her role.
Her hands-on experience in both commercial and residential construction has been instrumental in her transition to her current position as a Production Coordinator at Showcase Restoration.
Jonathan Davis has three children and has been married over 23 years. He has over 25 years of practical building experience in both Residential and Commercial construction, spanning all phases of the process.
He has been an owner and partner in a construction company for most of his professional life. His work ethic was created when he first showed up on the job site at the age of 10 while working for his father, and he has a strong desire to finish the task at hand as well as leadership skills.
Terrance Hunt has 20 years of construction industry experience. His current position as a Project Supervisor at Showcase is the result of 10 years of fieldwork and 10 years of construction management. He has a strong interest in construction and all that it entails.
Terrance is a remarkable individual who extends his dedication and service beyond his involvement with Showcase. In his local community, he plays multiple roles, each reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact.
Mike White began working for a nearby constructor right away after graduating from High School in 2003 and assisting with the construction of new homes. Mike has had a variety of managerial positions since that time, including Team Leader, Assistant Manager, and his current position as a Project Supervisor with Showcase Restoration.
As a skilled construction specialist with more than 15 years of experience, Mike is an expert at finishing physically and mentally challenging jobs. He brings tremendous attributes like perseverance, leadership, and knowledge to the Showcase team.
Russell Webb is a seasoned professional with an extensive background spanning more than two decades in the Construction Industry. With experience encompassing both laborer and management positions.
His educational background includes an Associate’s Degree in Construction Management.
What truly sets Russell apart is his unwavering dedication to serving his community. A notable example of this is his voluntary involvement in assisting those affected by Hurricane Sandy in New York City. Russell’s strong desire to give back to the community extends beyond singular acts of kindness. It is a fundamental principle that he actively imparts to his children, instilling in them the values of empathy, generosity, and service to others.
Justin Davis embarked on his journey in the family business at the age of 13, where he demonstrated remarkable skills and dedication. In 2021, he courageously became a part of the Showcase clan as a Carpenter. Soon after, he was presented with an opportunity to take on the role of Project Supervisor. He found himself compelled to accept the invitation to advance, unable to resist the chance for growth and development.
Tom Nuzzo has worked in the Construction Industry over 30 years. He began as a salesman for Home Improvement becoming the Sales Manager. Tom started his own construction company back in 2000. After selling his company, he entered the auto industry and rose through the ranks to become Commercial Sales Manager and Internet Sales Manager. He earned his certifications in Xactimate and Water Damage Technology while working as an estimator at Showcase Restoration. He was given the opportunity to become a Lead Salesman at Showcase due to his accomplishments as an Estimator. He is currently focusing on assisting Showcase in growing its Commercial division.
Public Relations Coordinator
Shavante’ McKinney areas of expertise are social media outreach, strategic communications and leadership abilities. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Elizabeth City State University and Master’s Degree in Public Relations from Full Sail University. She recently joined the Showcase family and has already gained a great deal of knowledge about the industry.

Na’cer Dylan Whitfield made up his mind to work in Construction. He enrolled in a program to understand more about the steps and practices of operating in the industry. His discovery of Showcase Restoration came about as a result of understanding more about the ins and outs of business. He took advantage of the opportunity and never looked back, learning from his colleagues in the process. With his coworkers by his side, he looks forward to going to work each day and reviving client lives.
